Another pallet of Flame Retardant Meter Boards leaves S P Wales

This pallet contains over 1,500 meter boards on their way to one of our electrical wholesalers. They supply many of the UK's utility companies and the boards are used for safely mounting new smart electric meters. Smart meters contain a SIM card,  much like your mobile phone, and this allows them to be read remotely, saving consumers the hassle of manually entering meter readings and ending estimated bills. Smart meters are the back bone to a smart energy system within the UK and the information they provide allows better integration of renewable power sources such as wind, solar & hydro power and reduces our reliance on fossil fuels.
