Quick overview

This device is a pulse to Modbus converter.  It is used to convert up to four pulse inputs from devices (such as water and gas meters) to a Modbus output so that they can be read through the Modbus network.  The MODBUS-Mini MOD-4DI offers a compact and cost-effective I/O solution. It features four opto-isolated digital inputs and is ideal for reliable signal interfacing in demanding environments.

Each input supports pulse counting, with values securely stored in non-volatile memory to ensure data retention even after power loss.  The device can output both Modbus ASCII and RTU protocols. Configuration and programming is simple and efficient; it is done through Aspar's free-to-download software and a USB connection to the device.
