The MultiCube Modular Metering system is designed to save both space and installation time in applications where multiple electrical circuits need to be measured. It’s flexible design permits measurement of up to 20 x three phase circuits, 60 x single phase circuits or any combination of the two. This DIN Rail Mounted meter can be supplied with Modbus, Mbus or Ethernet output modules allowing for remote reading or integration in to a building management system.
The ND Metering Solutions MultiCube Modular is manufactured in the UK and comes with a 5-year warranty. This DIN Rail mounted electricity meter and power monitor is CT operated and has a programmable VT input.
The MultiCube system requires a Master and up to 10 Measurement Modules, (each takes up to 6 x 0.333V CT inputs), and a communications module. Each measurement module is 2 x three phase meter points, 6 x single phase meter points, or 1 x three phase and 3 x single phase meter points.
Communication modules are available as Modbus, Mbus and Ethernet allowing for all electrical circuits to be read remotely or to be monitored through a BMS system. A remote display is also available, allowing for access to readings from a standard 96mm x 96mm panel mounted display, where the main unit may be concealed within an enclosure.
This meter has a significant number of parameters that can be used to analyse a power system. It displays Import and Export Energy (kWh) to an accuracy better than class 1. In addition, Import and Export Reactive Energy (kVArh) are available along with Apparent Energy (kVAh) and Frequency (Hz).
Power (W), Apparent Power (kVA), Reactive Power (kVAr), Power Factor (pf), Current (I) and Live to Live and Live to Neutral Voltage (V) are available for individual phases and as a total.
Peak values, time averaged values and peak time averaged values are also available for Current (I) and Live to Neutral Voltage (V). Mean Demand and Peak Hold Mean Demand are available for kW and kVAr.
