The EM511 from Carlo Gavazzi is a direct connect energy analyser suitable for single phase supplies up to 45A. This 1 module wide DIN rail meter can be supplied with MID approval, making it suitable for billing applications, and it’s available with either a Modbus or Mbus output, making it suitable for integration into compatible dataloggers or building management systems.
This bi-directional meter measures both imported & exported energy (kWh) as well as a host of other common parameters, including Current (I), Active Power (W), Frequency (Hz) and Voltage (V). It features a backlit display for easy reading and two mechanical keys for easy navigation. It also offers a digital input allowing it to be used as a dual tariff meter combined with an external time clock.
