The Ampy Re-coder is available on a weekly rental and can be used to change the card security code that your meter accepts. Landlords may wish to change their security code for the following reasons:

- security concerns, i.e. tenants able to procure cards from an alternate source.
- existing supplier is no longer trading.
- existing supplier no longer supplies top-up cards.

The re-coder is quick and easy to use, simply place the optical port of the coder against the optical receiver on the meter and push the button. The re-coder will emit a beep lasting 2-3 seconds and the digital display on the meter should read “Communication OK”.

We can supply our re-coder on either code A, B, C or D, simply make your selection below. Please note that when re-coded, any existing top-up or programming cards will cease to work so please ensure you have the appropriate code of cards ready before you re-code.

The rental cost includes next day delivery to you as well as collection to return the re-coder to us. A deposit of £300 is required to ensure the safe return of the device.

PLEASE NOTE, the programmer will only be rented to customers who can prove they are a landlord by supplying us with a copy of their landlords insurance certificate. No refund will be given if attempted purchase is made by Tenants.
