Installation Guide for T24 & T36 Split Core CT's

  1. Current Transformer's should only be installed by a qualified electrician.
  2. Release the clip to open to current transformer and identify the cable you need to measure.
  3. Position the CT, using the arrow on the base of the aperture, (see image below), to ensure correct orientation. The arrow should point towards the load.
  4. Connect the white, (S1), and black, (S2), cable to the appropriate terminals on the meter, (see manufacturer's wiring guide).
  5. Close the CT and check the clip is closed firmly to ensure a secure connection.
  6. Upon powering up, we recommend checking the meter to ensure current is reading as expected.
