Quick overview

Our 15mm, available in 12V, 24V or 230V, normally closed solenoid valve is for use with our range of coin and card operated timers.  Ideal for anyone looking to charge for or control the use of mixer showers.  

Most mixer showers will require two solenoid valves, one for the cold feed and one for the hot feed, though this will vary depending on your exact plumbing arrangement.

It allows for water pressure of between 0.1 and 15 bar, and allows a maximum flow of 5m³/hr.

Q: I have been tasked with sorting 3 coin operated mixer showers. They have central heating type motorised valves (x6 in total) to control flow, but some aren’t sealing fully, causing dribbling showers. Can I straight-swap these for your solenoids, or is it more involved than that? Regards Paul


A: 

Our solenoid valves can be fit inline with both hot and cold pipes or just hot, depending on the configuration, and act as a switch, opening up to allow flow when powered, (or when coins are entered in to the timer), and switching off the flow when there is no power. We can offer both the timers and solenoids as 12V or 240V.
